Work-related hearing loss? One call can make all the difference.
Industrial Deafness Claims
In the past four years, over 10,000 workers have suffered work-related noise injuries in New South Wales.
Some might occur suddenly, like from an explosion or a loud bang. But most develop slowly over time, like from the prolonged exposure to the sound of machinery or a crowd.
Either way, Nikolovski Lawyers is here to help.
How can we help?
At Nikolovski Lawyers, we believe every worker has the right to a safe and healthy workplace. For 25 years, our expert team of industrial deafness lawyers in Wollongong have proudly fought for that right.
In that time, we’ve learnt that hearing loss can impact every aspect of your life – from miscommunicating with your loved ones, to social and emotional withdrawal. That is why we’re committed to treating you and your matter with the care, compassion, and attention it deserves.
Let us help you get your life back on track.
What can I claim?
If you are a worker who has been exposed to sufficiently high levels of noise in the workplace, you may be entitled to claim compensation for your hearing loss. This may include the cost of any hearing aid devices you need and/or a lump sum payment.
How do I make a claim?
Firstly, you should undergo a preliminary hearing test with your hearing aid provider to determine the level and nature of the hearing loss. We can happily arrange this appointment for you.
Who pays the costs?
There is no upfront cost to you when making a claim. Some claims are covered by the workers compensation scheme itself, and in other cases we act on a ‘no win, no fee’ basis.
