Michael has now joined the team at Nikolovski Lawyers. Michael brings a wealth of experience to our firm having practiced law in the Illawarra for over 35 years.
Michael holds degrees in Commerce (major in Accounting & Financial Management) and Law from University of New South Wales and an Executive Master of Business Administration from University of Technology Sydney. After initially practicing at a small firm in Wollongong Michael was then a litigation partner at another Wollongong practice for over 20 years. He has vast experience in acting in matters of personal injury, family law, criminal law and civil litigation.
Michael has held Specialist Accreditation in personal injury and various roles within the Law Society of NSW. He has a long history of acting for community groups and a founding member of the Illawarra Legal Centre and served on the board of the Illawarra Disability Advocacy. He has coached for Holy Spirit College Bellambi for many years in mock trials and received a probono award from the NSW Law Society for his community service.
He recently had a stint in Baltimore in the United States where he assisted at the Homeless Persons Representation Project and worked on the appeal for Adnan Syed (“Serial” podcast) together with working for an organisation providing support to the victims of human trafficking.
